My interests: I love horses!Especilly Appaloosa's. I've rode all kinds. I guess what makes me love Appaloosa's so much is their beauty & the history behind them. The NEZ PIERCE Indians were the only indian tribes known to professionaly bread horses. They would cul the ones that they thought weren't good breading stock & make them into geldings & use only the best stock for breading. When the white man began trying to get controle of this tribe of indians they took there horses away from them & allowed them to bread with regiular horses which almost destroyed the bread.The bread that you see now is not believed to be pure stock. Imagine,as perty as they are,how perty the pure bread must have been. | ||||||||||||||||
